Privacy Policy

Introduction
Oregon ISP, powered by Windwave Communications ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and who we share it with. We are a subrecipient of the Oregon BEAD (Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment) program, providing fiber and wireless internet service to Boardman, Irrigon, and Ukiah, Oregon.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information depending on how you use our site:
Contact form
Name, email address, and message content. This is sent directly to Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, and is not stored on our own servers.
Program enrollment
Name, email address, and phone number when you apply to enroll in our BEAD broadband program. This is sent to SignNow to generate your enrollment document and to verify your identity with a one-time text message code before you can sign.
Address availability checker
The street address, city, and state you enter to check fiber availability. This is compared against our internal list of covered addresses and is not stored or logged.
Automatically collected information
When you visit our site, we automatically collect limited, non-identifying information through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, including which pages are visited, referring links, general device/browser type, and approximate location. This is collected without cookies or persistent visitor identifiers, and we cannot identify individual visitors from it.
Cookies
We use a single cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember whether you prefer to view the site in English or Spanish. This cookie does not track you and is not used for advertising or analytics.
Security & abuse prevention
When you submit our enrollment form, we briefly record the IP address of that request — for up to 10 minutes — solely to prevent automated abuse of the enrollment system. This is never written to a database, never shared with anyone, and is automatically discarded shortly after.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, determine whether fiber service is available at your address, process your enrollment in our broadband program and generate a signable enrollment agreement, remember your preferred language between visits, and understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following service providers, as needed to provide our services:
Web3Forms
Processes and delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox.
SignNow
Generates your enrollment document, verifies your identity by text message, and securely stores your signed document as the legal record of enrollment.
MapTiler
Provides the map imagery used on our coverage map page.
Vercel
Hosts our website and provides anonymous analytics and performance monitoring.
Data Retention
We do not store the contents of the contact form, the enrollment form, or the address checker in our own database — this information is either passed directly to a third-party service provider or used once and discarded. The one exception is your signed enrollment document, which is retained by SignNow as the legal record of your enrollment. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Vercel and does not identify you individually.
Your Choices
You may decline to provide information through our forms, though this will limit our ability to respond to you, check your address, or process an enrollment. You can clear your language-preference cookie at any time through your browser's settings. If you have questions about your information or would like to make a request regarding it, please contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, including requiring a one-time text message verification before an enrollment document can be signed, and relying on established, reputable third-party providers for form delivery, e-signature, and hosting services.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
